• Discontinue Certain Products: Stop using any retinoids, retinol, glycolic acid, or other exfoliating products 3-5 days before your appointment.

• No Waxing or Hair Removal: Avoid waxing, tweezing, or depilatory creams on the treatment area for one week prior.

• Inform Us of Medications: Discuss any medications or supplements you are taking, especially if you have a history of cold sores, as we may prescribe an antiviral.

• Arrive with a Clean Face: Come to your appointment with a bare face—no makeup, moisturizer, or sunscreen.

After Your Treatment & What to Expect:

• The peeling process is a normal and essential part of the rejuvenation process.

• Days 1-2: Your skin may feel tight, sensitive, and have a reddish-brown tint. This is normal.

• Days 3-6: Peeling will begin, typically starting around the mouth and nose. It is crucial not to pick, pull, or manually exfoliate the peeling skin, as this can lead to scarring and hyperpigmentation. Let it shed naturally.

• Soothing Care: We will provide you with a post-peel kit and detailed instructions. You will use gentle moisturizers and a specialized cream to soothe the skin and support healing.

• Protect the New Skin: Once peeling is complete, your new skin will be fresh and sensitive. Strict sun protection with a high-SPF mineral sunscreen is absolutely mandatory to protect your results.

• The Final Result: After the peeling phase subsides (usually within 5-7 days), you will reveal your results: a dramatically brighter, smoother, more even-toned, and radiant complexion.
